Fund-raising evening to help Northfield mum diagnosed with breast cancer and her children 'make some memories'

A FUND-RAISING evening is being held at the Austin Social Club in Longbridge for a Northfield mum who has breast cancer.

The event – from 6pm to 10pm on February 26 – will feature a disco, character visits, face-painting, a bouncy castle, hot dogs and more.

It has been organised by Chloe Wilkes whose sister Demi will also be losing her locks – some 20inches – for the Little Princess Trust.

The cash will go to help Natasha – a single mum of three children, aged two, eight and 12 – so they can have days out and a holiday as a family to make memories together.

Natasha was diagnosed in June last year and has undergone treatment, including chemotherapy.

Chloe said: “We are fundraising to send them on a family holiday so they can make some good memories and have some positives to look back on.”

She has set a fund-raising target of £1,500 from ticket sales and from the activities on the night.

There will also be a raffle so Chloe wants to hear from any companies who can provide a prize for the draw.

Admission to the event on February 26 is £3.50 for adults, £4 for children and £14 for a family (two adults and two children).

Any people or companies who can donate raffle prizes, want to find out more or buy tickets should call Chloe on 07804 699541 or visit the ‘Fairytale Party Planners’ Facebook page.

People who cannot make the event but still want to donate to the cause can click here for the fund-raising page.
