Fugitive 'Raymond the Red Sheep' recaptured by police in Bromsgrove

A ‘RED SHEEP’ who escaped from his home in Rock Hill, Bromsgrove, has been recaptured by town police officers.

The four-legged fugitive – Raymond ‘RED’ Reddington – who is a bold TUP, decided to go on an unscheduled stroll through Rock Hill.

Bromsgrove Police could have been left looking a little sheepish, may have been lamb-asted by the public (or even for the chop) had they been fleeced by the runaway.

But officers rose to the challenge and, posting these pictures on Facebook, they said: “Thanks to a quick-thinking member of the public and some very kind homeowners, our woolly wanderer was safely secured and has now been successfully reunited with his flock of friends.

“Case closed. RED is back behind baaaaars – well, behind a fence at least.

“Big thanks to everyone who helped bring this ‘baa-d guy’ in!”

At least officers will sleep well in their beds tonight – without even the need of counting sheep.
