He will be presenting a ‘Henley in Arden Street Scene in Watercolour’ at the Burcot Village Hall in Alcester Road, Burcot.

The demonstration will be one of the first at Burcot since the society moved there in February.

Hopkins has enjoyed a successful career and is currently an associate member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.

The society’s vice-chairman Michael Hurst said: “‘Watercolour demonstrations are always popular with our members and visitors.

“Our new venue at Burcot Village Hall has proved to be a great improvement on our previous venue.”

The entrance fee for members is £1, with a £4 charge for visitors.

There will be tea and biscuits available in the interval.
