Bromsgrove Editorial 20th Aug, 2023   0

AGE UK’S One Stop Bus is coming to Rubery and will be at St Chad’s Church, New Road, from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday, August 22.

The bus team can help with gaining access to a range of services. These include applying for childcare funding, energy bill advice and support and parenting advice. And there will be help for connecting people with local support and facilities and assistance for the over 55s.

There will also be the chance to talk to the Rubery Community Builder.

Free NHS Health Checks and Healthy Start Vitamins will also be on offer. These will be £1.80 for children’s and 91p for women’s (free with Healthy Start pre-paid cards).

The event has been organised by Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest in conjunction with Worcestershire County Council, Starting Well Bromsgrove and SW Healthcare.

There will also be representatives from Bromsgrove District Council and Act on Energy to offer advice to visitors.
