Families in Bromsgrove are being invited to a new 12-week programme of free interactive story sessions at Bromsgrove Sport and Leisure Centre.
Run by Everyone Active in partnership with Bromsgrove District Council, the half-hour sessions began on Wednesday, October 1 at 1pm in the café and will continue weekly at the same time.
Aimed at children aged up to five, the Story Time with Phoebe sessions encourage early learning and imagination in a welcoming space, while giving parents and carers a chance to connect and relax.
Ben Betteridge, contract manager at Everyone Active, said: “We’re very excited to launch our free Story Time sessions.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for eager learners to enjoy short stories together in a fun, friendly space where families can also feel part of the community.”
Councillor Bernard McEldowney, Bromsgrove District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Leisure, added: “These free sessions offer families another chance to connect, support early learning, and enjoy quality time together in a pleasant space.”
Places can be booked via the Everyone Active app or at the centre’s reception.
