CYCLISTS in Bromsgrove can protect their bikes by having them marked with SmartWater at a special event on Saturday, July 29.
West Mercia Police will be carrying out the bike marking, which is free, between 11am and 4pm.
By marking their bike, riders can protect their property against thieves, making it easier for it to be identified if it is stolen and then recovered.
People should take along any bikes they would like to be marked.
Children will need to be accompanied by an adult so that the Smart Water can be registered.
