A FREE recital by the prestigious National Children’s Choir of Great Britain will take place at Bromsgrove’s St John’s Church at 2.30pm this afternoon.
The singers, who are aged between nine and 19 and come from across the country, have a wide repertoire which covers many genres.
The choir is passionate about what it does, placing strong pastoral care at the heart of everything.
A choir spokesperson said: “We encourage them to achieve their musical potential, to push their boundaries and become inquisitive musicians, in a happy, inclusive and supportive environment.”
Choirs meet twice-a-year for week-long residential courses where, as well as singing, members take part in sports and crafts and make lifelong friendships.
