A FITTER future for free is on offer after the launch of new sessions at three parks across Bromsgrove district throughout August.

The weekly instructor led classes – at Sanders Park, Alvechurch Meadows and Clent Park – will help users to improve their strength, balance, mobility and overall fitness levels.

There is no need to book, anyone interested in taking part can just turn up, register and join in at any point during the session for as long as they want.

People are advised to wear clothing which is easy to move in.

The sessions at Sanders Park are between 10am and 1pm on Tuesdays, at Alvechurch Meadows between 10am and 12pm on Saturdays and at Clent Park from 10am to 12pm on Sundays.

The instructor will help residents on the best way to use the free equipment in the park as well as offering guidance on how to get the best out of a workout.

Hayley Gwilliam, Bromsgrove’s physical activity development officer, said: “Whether you already know what you’re doing and just want a change in routine or you have no idea where to start and would like some guidance, everyone is welcome to join in the sessions.

“Make the most of the summer and get your fitness back on track post lockdown.”
