BROMSGROVE Sporting is offering free entry to its match with Biggleswade Town this Saturday, March 19, urging supporters to instead donate to its Ukraine appeal in return for admission.

Bucket collections will be held at the ground for people to contribute.

It is an important match for Sporting and bosses are hoping the town will get behind the team as well as give to a very worthwhile cause.

Town Crier Kevin Ward will be at the match, encouraging people to attend and donate to the fund and chairman of Bromsgrove District Council, Coun Rod Laight will be the club chairman Mike Burke’s special guest.

The crowd will be entertained before the kick-off and at half-time by Paola Olivetti’s Rock Choir which will perform pop and rock songs by artists, including Abba and Queen.

Fans need to be aware that under 12-year-olds will only be permitted with an adult.

Season ticket holders should save Ticket Number 17, where it can be used to get a further £10 off next season’s season ticket.

A Sporting spokesperson said: “Please, get behind the lads and spread the word.

“Saturday is massive and we need you all.”

Kick-off is at 3pm.
