Frankley to hold its first Remembrance commemoration on Armistice Day

Bromsgrove Editorial 10th Nov, 2019   0

FRANKLEY will hold its first Remembrance commemoration on Armistice Day tomorrow.

It comes after former councillor Andy Cartwright and Ian Bruckshaw from New Frankley Parish Council successfully campaigned to get a memorial stone and plaque constructed off Arden Road.

The service will take place tomorrow at 10.45am.

The memorial is also for Frankley residents to remember lost loved ones at any time.

Andy told The Standard: “Myself and the New Frankley Parish Council are so proud to have got this done so there is a place where people in the area can go at this time and throughout the year.”
