CLASS A and B drugs were seized following early morning raids in Northfield yesterday morning.
Four arrests were made during the swoops in Greaves Square, Monks Way and Long Nuke Road during the pre-planned operation.
A home-made ‘slam gun’ was found in a car at one of the addresses.
A man aged 21 was arrested possession of class A drugs, assault and criminal damage.
A 33-year-old man was held on suspicion of assault of possession of class B drugs with intent to supply.
A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class B drugs with intent to supply.
And a 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and assault. They were all taken into custody to be questioned.
Insp Lisa Edwards from Birmingham Police, said: “This action forms part of an on-going crackdown on suspected organised crime and drugs in Birmingham.
“This was a pre-planned operation and we anticipate there will be more in the future.
“Drugs are harmful to our communities and a gun in the wrong hands can have potentially very serious consequences.”
