CREATORS of bespoke home dining experiences, Canary and Kitchen will be launching their debut restaurant in Bromsgrove this month.

The restaurant, which is the brainchild of Birmingham-based former Masterchef contestant Michael Rossiter-Eaglesfield is opening April 28 in Aston Fields, close to Bromsgrove train station.

The intimate eight-seater space will feature an open kitchen with design features inspired by homes in the Canary Islands in a nod to Michael’s wife, Antonia’s Mediterranean heritage.

On opening, service will centre around a Japanese and Korean inspired seven course taster menu, leaning on recipes perfected during Michael’s years of providing private dining experiences.

He said: “We are beyond excited to be opening our first restaurant. When we first saw the space, we instantly fell in love with the potential for an intimate and cosy venue in such an up and coming food destination.

“We wanted the restaurant to look and feel like a home away from home, somewhere you don’t want to leave.

“Our aim is to offer a unique, intimate, and relaxed dining experience for visitors. We want to bring back the warm, true feeling of hospitality.”

The restaurant will operate on reservations only, providing between one and two services an evening on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The price per guest will be £60.
