A FORMER Bromsgrove School student is on a mission to spread the message of ‘true health’.
Entrepreneur Sasha Rae, 23, has always been interested in living a healthy lifestyle but became disillusioned by the amount of information out there.
With the help of her fiance Matt, she set up a website called ‘LifeTrainMe’ aimed at combining a variety of health information into easy-to-watch videos.
She said: “It’s not just about how to eat healthy, or the best exercises to do, or what medicine to take, it’s all of it combined.
“Our documentary-style videos cover everything from mental, to holistic to physical health.”
Sasha, who has recently been nominated for the ‘Rising Star’ category of Women’s Who awards believes it is important to give people the tools to understand their own bodies.
“We live in a world where we look to our therapists to get our lives on track, our personal trainers to help us lose weight, our nutritionist to tell us what to eat, but actually, it is all connected – each aspect plays a vital role in creating a healthy lifestyle.
“I have created a sense of unity in the health community.
“There is nothing else like this in the UK and better yet, it started here in the Midlands.”
Sasha said she could not have done it without Australian Matt who had been a ‘rock’ for her through the hard times.
“I fell really ill when I was pregnant with my daughter Aliana, but he was with me every step of the way.”
