STUDENTS from North Bromsgrove High School welcomed former American football player and coach Jim Roberson to give an inspirational talk.
The self-titled ‘discipline coach’ motivated the pupils and challenged them to think about their life plan. He offered clear links to his own beliefs and experiences that education provided opportunity.
He linked North Bromsgrove High School students’ hopes and aspirations for the future to the ‘concrete steps’ needed in the run-up to exams.
Jim also gave practical guidance on sleep, mobile phones, two hours of revision-a-day and how to divide that time up.
A school spokesperson said: “By the end, students were left with clear strategies for success.”
