A VARIETY of food has been donated by Jack’s in Rubery to The Project Birmingham for the Christmas lunch it is putting on for those less fortunate.
The organisers of the festive meal were delighted to receive the generous contribution which included salt and pepper, turkeys, potatoes, vegetables, gravy, cranberry sauce, and seasonal desserts.
The project prevents homelessness and improves lives through high quality advice and support that builds resilience.
It specialises in supporting young people but their personalised, tailored approach is available to all.
Mark Hill, Store Manager of Jack’s Rubery, said: “Christmas is an exciting time of year, however for some it can be an extremely difficult time.
“It’s important we continue to help those that are struggling, especially after the past 18 months.
“We were delighted to be able to support The Project Birmingham and contribute towards their Christmas dinner, supporting those who need it the most.”
