Top BMX riders and skaters confirmed for Saturday's extravaganza in Bromsgrove High Street

THE TOP riders and skaters who will be heading to Bromsgrove High Street on Saturday have been confirmed.

Jack Clarke, who has recently been selected for Team GB’s Olympic BMX squad, will be there, alongside Chris Vile, who is from Birmingham and is one of Europe’s top pro-skaters.

Sponsored UK skateboarder Jamie Hewitt, who is also from Birmingham, will also be showcasing his skills.

The event, organised by Bromsgrove District Council and featuring King Ramps, will run from 11am to 4pm




As well as demonstrations from the professionals, people of all ages can try a trick or two during a number of workshops.

There will also be aerial demonstrations and workshops and a chance to try out circus skills.


The free event has been organised by Bromsgrove District Council and will run from 11am to 4pm.

Coun Karen May, the councli’s portfolio holder for economic cevelopment, said: “This was a huge success last year and I am delighted King Ramps is returning.

“Once again Bromsgrove town centre will be a hive of activity and will attract visitors to the High Street to see what’s on offer and how vibrant and fantastic it is.”
