THE FIRST of two Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (BDHT) fundays took place this week.
The event, held by the trust as a way of championing community spirit, was held at King George Playing Fields, Sidemoor, on Wednesday.
The afternoon of bouncy castles, fun painting, pony rides, tombolas and raffles, brought people together.
There was also information stands and demonstrations from local service providers.
The next one is due to take place at the Lyttleton Avenue Playing Fields in Charford on August 22.
BDHT also wants local businesses and individuals to get involved in it.
Hannah Ross, BDHT’s sheltered living manager, said: “We really value he support from local businesses and individuals who have played a part in our events in past years.
“They take place in the heart of two of Bromsgrove’s largest communities and there’s always a fantastic turn-out.
“It’s a great opportunity for businesses to reach out to the local community and share the services that they offer.”
