Firefighters rescue two girls trapped in vending machine in Bromsgrove

FIREFIGHTERS had to release two girls from a vending machine after they got their hands stuck at a shop in Bromsgrove yesterday.

The incident, involving the girls aged five and seven, happened at 5.55pm in the store on Birmingham Road.

A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The crew used small tools and washing up liquid to get them free.”

The rescue was completed around 6.30pm.
