FIREFIGHTERS have extinguished a severe house blaze which broke out in Hagley on Monday.
Two crews from Kidderminster attended the fire on the ground floor of a house.
Water jets were used to extinguish the flames.
Utility engineers were called to isolate gas and electricity supplies.
Fire crews remained at the scene to damp down hot spots and inspect the scene throughout the night until 7am on Tuesday.
A fire investigation has been launched by both the police and the fire service.
Fortunately no-one was injured.
