FIREFIGHTERS put out a blaze that broke out in a house in Catshill yesterday morning.
Crews from Bromsgrove and Redditch attended the incident in the property’s kitchen around 11.20am.
The gas and electrics were isolated while firefighters got to work.
After putting out the fire, positive pressure ventilation equipment was used to clear the smoke logging.
And smoke alarms were fitted at the property by the fire service.
