Fire crews battled blaze which engulfed lorry trailer full of tyres in Belbroughton

FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a blaze in a stationary articulated lorry trailer in Belbroughton in the early hours of this morning.

Two crews from Wyre Forest Fire Station and one from Bromsgrove attended just after 2am.

There were concerns about the fumes from the trailer which was 30ft long and being used to store tyres.

Water was pumped from a nearby stream and compressed air foam was created to smother the flames.

No-one was injured in the incident.
