Fines issued in Hagley to people and a business owner over Covid-19 rule breaches

POLICE in Hagley have been clamping down on those breaching Covid-19 regulation.

On Friday, officers from Hagley and Rubery Safer Neighbourhood Team fined a business owner for operating during the national lockdown when they were not permitted to do so.

In another incident a person was issued with a fixed penalty notice for leaving home without good excuse.

And they attended reports of youths gathering on the skate park in Hagley which is forbidded during the current lockdown.

PCSO White urged parents to get the message across to their children that there should be no socialising during the national lockdown, adding tickets were being issued as part of the rules being enforced.
