INDIE fans will be in their element at Fairfield Village Hall at 8pm next Saturday, August 20, when a concert performed by BBC Introducing Alex Ohm and his band are screened live.

Alex’s alternative and cinematic symphonies have already been blasted out at the Isle Of Wight Festival, Y Not, Truckfest and Tramlines..

A wide range of influences have inspired the Midlands-based songsmith.

With several sold out shows already under his belt, Alex has also opened shows for the likes of Ian Brown, The Charlatans, Ocean Colour Scene and Peter Doherty to name a few as well as touring worldwide.

The band have been busy since releasing their Debut EP ‘At first a drop’ in 2017 which featured the single ‘Through the storm’ – a song which received huge praise from radio and press alike as well as becoming the soundtrack for the John Lewis promotional video for their Birmingham flagship store.

Supporting Alex Ohm will be Hannah Brown, a talented singer/songwriter originally from Nottingham, who is making a name for herself across the Birmingham music scene. Influenced by strong female vocalists, Hannah’s songs always come from a personal place; with her music being self-expression.

Visit fairfieldflicks.org.uk for more information and to buy tickets which are £8 each.
