Fairbourne Dodders staging two comedies in one night

Bromsgrove Editorial 16th Jul, 2018   0

THE FAIRBOURNE Dodders will be staging two one-act comedies next weekend.

The performances of Paul Robinson’s Last Show in Paris and Alan Ayckbourn’s Gosforth Fete take place at Dodford Village Hall at 7.30pm next Friday and Saturday, July 20 and 21.

The Last Show in Paris centres on the trials and tribulations of a village amateur dramatic group who are trying to find actors for their play.

And Gosforth’s Fete surrounds the shenanigans at a disastrous village summer fete, involving a councillor, a divorced landlord, a vicar and some cubs, among other characters.

Tickets, which include a hot supper, are £12, available by calling James on 07946 715220 or Christine on 07902 350941.
