AN EXOTIC bird has been spotted near Bromsgrove Railway Station this morning (Friday).

Thought to be a parrot, the colourful bird has bright red, blue and green feathers and was seen at about 8.30am today.

Erica O’Brien saw the bird perched on a fence on the path that connects Garrington Road and Railway Walk, parallel to the railway station.

She said: “I was surprised when I saw the bird because it is an exotic bird with flamboyant colours.

“I thought it might belong to someone who lives in the flats adjacent to the road.

“It didn’t look injured but looked like it was confused.

“I have contacted the RSPCA and hopefully someone will come forward.”

If you spot the bird or if it is your pet, call RSPCA 0300 123 4999.
