THERE was plenty of excitement and exercise at Dodford First School when a new ‘trim trail’ was added to the school grounds.
The latest piece of equipment – aimed at helping the children stay fit and healthy – joins the school’s existing traversing wall.
Year three and four children were the first groups who got to try it out and the rest of the school will get to have a go next week.
Headteacher Lisa Parkes said: “We have been so pleased to be able to fund such a project for the children.
“The trail will offer opportunities for the children to improve their physical fitness, promote mental health and wellbeing and have lots of fun.’
