THE ORGANISERS of the Hanbury Countryside Show have announced England’s World Cup quarter-final match with Sweden will be shown on a big screen at the event.

There were concerns fans might be torn between watching the football and going to the show and it is hoped the move will offer them the best of both worlds.

Regarded as Worcestershire’s summer’s showpiece for British agriculture, equestrianism and rural life, the event returns in on Saturday, July 7 attracts people from across the country to the showground, situated on a working dairy farm in Hanbury.

The NFU Mutual Main Arena headline act will be the amazing BROKE FMX Motocross stunt team who will be joined by the usual array of Main Arena entertainment including the grand parade of heavy horses, farming in action demonstration and historical vehicle parade, mounted fancy dress and, the not to be missed spectacular parade of all the Champion winning livestock.

Plus there will be a farrier competition, archery, rifle shooting and fly casting.

In addition there will be a fun dog show, horticultural marquee, more than 200 trade stands and much more.

Tickets cost £12 on the day at the gate or £10 in advance via www.hanburyshow.co.uk
