A HOST of egg-citing events are set to take place in Bromsgrove this Easter.
Fun activities and support for families will be available in the two-week school holiday, thanks to youth officers from Bromsgrove District Council’s Community Safety Team, Sports Development Team, and the Starting Well Partnership.
Funding is being provided by Worcestershire Children First and Ready Steady Worcestershire.
Tesco has provided 2,000 Easter eggs which will be hidden around the district as part of 14 different organised hunts in Rubery, Hagley, Catshill, Sidemoor, Blackwell and Lickey End, Charford and Wythall. Some are open to all.
Families can also take part in a variety of different sports and activities which have been supported by the
Bromsgrove Police Safer Neighbourhood Team, Impression Communication, The Round Table, Bromsgrove School and Morrisons PLC.
Project champion, Coun Helen Jones, said: “Thank you to Tesco and our other partners and sponsors for helping to make these events possible for our communities.
“Something as simple as an Easter Egg hunt can make a world of difference to the wellbeing of local families.
“School holidays can be a difficult time for some, especially after the last two years, so thank you to the team for making this a reality.
“Look out for a hunt near you and ‘hop’ along to see if you and your children can find a gift from the Easter Bunny.”
