Easter treats for all the family

Bromsgrove Editorial 1st Apr, 2023   0

FAMILIES in Worcestershire can take part in various Easter-themed activities across the county over the school holidays.

There will be Easter egg hunts taking place in several areas, including Bromsgrove and Redditch and an ‘Easter Eggstravaganza’ in Worcester.

The activities are being organised by Starting Well Partnership, which provides support to parents, families, children and young people to live happy, healthy, and fulfilled lives across Worcestershire.

The Starting Well Partnership is led by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust.

The partnership is delivered on behalf of the county council, bringing together professionals from Barnardo’s, Action for Children and Redditch Borough Council.

The scheme supports parents, parents-to-be and their children during the early years and as they move through school towards adulthood.

Louise Langston, the Starting Well Partnership’s clinical service manager said: “Our family hubs provide vital safe spaces within our local communities, to support all aspects of physical and mental wellbeing for children, young people and their families.”

Bromsgrove’s event takes place from 11am to 12pm and between 1pm and 2pm on Wednesday, April 5, at Sanders Park.

Redditch’s event runs from 11am to 12pm and 1pm to 2pm on the following Thursday, April 13, at Arrow Valley Country Park.

And the ‘Easter Eggstravaganza’ is being held from 1pm to 5pm a week on Monday, April 10, at Fort Royal Park, Worcester.

Spaces are limited so people are urged to visit startingwellworcs.nhs.uk/events to book early.
