RESIDENTS are being urged to ensure they get the right care over the bank holiday weekend.

The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care Trusts – which runs the Minor Injury Units (MIUs) in Bromsgrove, Malvern and Evesham – are urging people to use the MIUs.

The walk-in service is open from 8am to 10pm everyday, including bank holidays.

This will help ease pressure on the county’s emergency departments.

Pharmacists can also offer a wealth of help and information with times differing during the bank holiday.

On Good Friday, Bromsgrove Pharmacy on New Road, will open between 12pm and 3pm.

On Easter Sunday, Wythall Pharmacy, Station Road, will open from 10am to 1pm.

Lloyds Pharmacy at BHI Parkside, Stourbridge Road, Bromsgrove, will open from 12pm to 3pm on Easter Monday, April 1.

Knights Central Pharmacy will open between 12pm and 3pm on Easter Monday.

Also on Monday, Pitman Pharmacy, Bristol Road South, Northfield, will open from 12pm to 3pm.

And people can visit 111.nhs.uk or call the NHS 111 helpline.
