A TRAFFIC operation carried out by Worcestershire’s Operational Patrol Unit at Hopwood services resulted in 15 drivers being reported for driving offences and the seizure of two vehicles for being driven without insurance.
The operation, implemented on May 26, with the support of DVSA enforcement officers led to vehicles being stopped for various offences including being overweight, dangerous loads, tyres with unsafe tread and other ‘fatal 4’ offences which include speeding, drink and drug driving, driving while distracted and not wearing seatbelts.
The road policing unit carried out the operation along the M42 at J2 in Bromsgrove.
