Drug-driver dramatically stopped in Rubery by police using 'TPAC' technique

A DRIVER under the influence of drugs was dramatically stopped by in Rubery.

The car was brought to a standstill on the A38 Rubery bypass after failing to stop for officers.

A ‘TPAC’ technique which sees police vehicles pull in front and alongside the offending car was used by officers from the Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit (OPU).

And, after failing a roadside drugs test, the motorist was arrested and taken into custody.




The vehicle was also seized following the pursuit in the early hours of yesterday morning.
