POLICE caught a drug-driver who stole petrol from Frankley Services in the early hours of this morning.
The motorist was located in Redditch ten minutes after taking the fuel by officers who were out on patrol.
The driver initially failed to stop but was caught by officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit.
As well as being arrested for theft, the driver also failed a roadside Drugs Wipe Test and was held on suspicion of drug-driving.
He had made off from Frankley without paying for fuel after stopping at the southbound service station.
