Droitwich's Duncan to have his long locks lopped for the Primrose Hospice

A DROITWICH man will be having his long locks lopped to raise funds for the Primrose Hospice.

Duncan Lloyd will also donate his hair to the Little Princess Trust when the chop takes place at the town’s Castle pub in Droitwich at 6pm next Friday, April 8.

The company Duncan works for – Spa Gas Ltd – is also holding a charity event in the summer to raise further funds for the hospice,

Mark Fry, the managing director, was thinking of other ways to raise cash and approached Duncan to ask him if he would have his waist-length hair cut for the cause.

Duncan has not had a haircut for more than 20 years.

Browns on Worcester Road will be carrying out the cut and a raffle will be held at The Castle, which is also providing food.
