Drivers warned of opportunist thieves trying car door handles in Hagley and Rubery

DRIVERS are being warned to be on their guard after opportunist car thieves have been trying car door handles in Hagley and Rubery

Safer Neighbourhood Team officers for the two areas have received reports of thefts and attempted thefts from vehicles.

Following the incidents police are advising car and van owners to remove valuables from their vehicles and ensure they are locked when they leave them unattended.

Any suspicious activity can be reported by calling 101 or 999 if the crime is in progress.
