Driver in stolen van in Bromsgrove told police 'I borrowed it from a friend'

Bromsgrove Editorial 23rd Apr, 2020   0

POLICE officers who seized a stolen van in Bromsgrove earlier tonight were told by the driver ‘it was borrowed from a friend’.

Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit were forced to use a TPAC manoeuvre to bring the van to a stop and then found it had been taken.

A TPAC is a technique whereby officers pull police vehicles in front of and to the side of a target vehicle to prevent it from carrying on.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of taking the van.
