Driver arrested on suspicion of rape at Hopwood Services after 'intelligence led' stop

A DRIVER was arrested on suspicion of rape after a vehicle was stopped at Hopwood Services.

The Honda Civic was pulled over at the M42 service station earlier today after being flagged up on the police’s Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system.

Officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit carried out the intelligence-led stop.
