BROMSGROVE’S Blue Cross have warned the town’s dog and cat owners not to share their hot cross buns and chocolate eggs with pets.
The charity said it sees incidents every year where pets at their hospitals have eaten Easter treats.
Blue Cross Bromsgrove’s centre manager Neil Edwards said: “While they are delicious for us, chocolate and raisins can be toxic to cats and dogs.
“By ensuring they are kept well out of their reach, everyone can enjoy a safe and happy Easter together.”
