DOGS put on their best smiles for a special seasonal photoshoot at Cofton Hackett Village Hall to raise funds for the south Birmingham pet charity Animal House Rescue.

The event, which featured Father Christmas with people’s four-legged friends, was held in association with Paws Here dog groomer and trainer.

A total of £200 was raised and will go towards the much-needed vet bills to pay for the cats and dogs in foster homes in the coming weeks and months.

Anita Ashton and James Slater organised the event which saw dog owners pay £10 for their shoot.

They will receive the photographs via email and on a 10ins by 8ins print.

Anita said: “It was a fantastic atmosphere which had us all, including the dogs, feeling very Christtmassy.

“And a great total was raised – thanks to everyone who brought along their pets.”
