A DOG which attacked its owners in Bromsgrove has had to be euthanased.
The incident, involving the Boerboel, happened at a home on Braces Lane in Marlbrook.
Armed police were called to the property and attempted to secure the dog and a vet was called in.
The vet sadly had to euthanase the dog for the owners’ and public’s safety.
Police officers assisted but no firearm were discharged and said it was an isolated incident.
The dog’s owners – a man and a woman – needed hospital treatment for their bite wounds.
