YOUNG super sleuths from Dodford First School in Bromsgrove got to meet officers from their local police team and have a go at crime-solving.
The reception class has been learning about ‘people who help us’ in the community.
During the visit, the children tried to solve a simulated crime, arresting two suspects who ‘caused the damage’ and taking them into custody in a prison in their classroom.
The children were then very excited to meet the Safer Neighbourhood Team and learned many interesting facts.
After poor Miss Stanley, the class teacher, was ‘arrested’, the highlight of the day for the children was to go outside and have a look around the police car and hear its siren.
