A BOOKWORM from Dodford First School felt like ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ when she received a handwritten reply to a letter she wrote to her favourite author Julia Donaldson.
Isla loves to read and has shared many of her favourite books by the author with her friend.
She decided to write a letter to her favourite author and asked all her class to sign the letter.
And Isla was delighted when she received the handwritten reply which she shared with her friends.
Julia Donaldson is one of the world’s best-loved children’s authors after creating a host of books with illustrator Axel Scheffler, including The Gruffalo, Stick Man, Room on the Broom, Zog and The Smartest Giant in Town.
