A DOCTOR who is treating COVID-19 patients on the frontline is holding a question and answer session about the virus online.

Dr David Nicholl, who lives in Hagley and works at a Birmingham hospital, will be taking questions from residents on the Bromsgrove Liberal Democrats’ Facebook page from 8pm tomorrow (Wednesday)

He will answer questions about a variety of aspects surrounding coronavirus, including the supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilators.

He will also provide an insider’s perspective on how the healthcare system is tackling this crisis.

Dr Nicholl previously stood as a candidate for the Lib Dems in Bromsgrove in last year’s general election urging for greater investment in the NHS.

Questions for the session can be sent in advance to Bromsgrove Lib Dems on Twitter or Facebook.

Local activist Samuel Evans added “It is great that David is giving up some of his time in his busy schedule to address questions from local residents and provide an inside perspective.

“Although this event is hosted on the Bromsgrove Lib Dems’ Facebook page we encourage local residents from all political persuasions to take part in this event irrespective of their views on politics.

“I also wish to pay thanks to the hardworking staff who are keeping us safe during this crisis.”
