LONGBRIDGE residents and visitors are in for a mouth-watering treat as Digbeth Dining Club (DDC) makes its debut in the town centre this weekend.

Winner of the UK’s Best Street Food Event for 2013 and 2014, DDC has taken to the road to bring some of the region’s finest street food vendors to Longbridge from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, August 12.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of street foods, with traders scheduled to appear including Bare Bones Pizza, Indian Rasoi and Bournville Waffle Company.

There will also be craft beers, drinks and entertainment on the day.

Andrea Clarke, Property Manager for St. Modwen, said: “This is the first of a number of new events scheduled to take place in Longbridge town centre.

“It’s brilliant to have Digbeth Dining Club look to Longbridge as a venue for their street food event, something we believe residents and visitor alike will really enjoy.”

Jack Brabant, Digbeth Dining Club Founder, said: “We are genuinely excited to be making our way to Longbridge as part of our Summer of events across the Midlands.

“The street food scene has become immensely popular in Birmingham since we started in 2012 and the response to our talented traders in new areas shows that. We plan on creating a day of great food for all the family.
