THIS photograph was taken of pupils at Dodford First School at the moment they released the butterflies they nurtured themselves.
The children have been looking at minibeasts as part of their ‘Fairies and Frogs’ topic.
The youngsters watched the caterpillars through their life cycle, spinning cocoons before breaking out and hatching into beautiful butterflies.
They then went into the school garden to release them into the wild.
