THE DATE for this year’s Bromsgrove Pride has been announced.
The free event for all ages, which will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community from Bromsgrove district and further afield, will take place between 11am to 3pm on July 9 in the High Street.
The family-friendly extravaganza will feature stalls and entertainment and promote awareness of the LGBTQ+ community.
Bromsgrove Pride – run by local volunteers – follows last year’s inaugural event on October 2.
Despite poor weather, there was an excellent turnout from locals and people from further afield.
The High Street was festooned with colourful street decorations and many shops and businesses put up rainbow flags or created window displays to show their support.
