THIS lock knife and a quantity of cannabis was seized by Northfield Police earlier today.
Officers were flagged down by staff at a local college
The group was pointed out as causing issues and having cannabis on them
Police said lots of cannabis was seizedand one student was arrested for possessing a lock knife that they took into the college in their bag.
It was a timely seizure as today is the first day of Anti Knife Crime Week.
Supported by Operation Sceptre – the national drive to get knives off the streets – it is aimed at warning people, particularly young people, about the dangers of carrying weapons.
A number of knife surrender bins have been set up for people to hand in their blades to as part of an amnesty.
