Couple assaulted by group of teenagers in Bromsgrove as they walked their dog

A COUPLE were assaulted as they walked their dog in Bromsgrove.

It happened around 8.45pm last Monday night (July 20) on the Barnsley Hall Playing Fields.

The victim spoke to a large group of teenagers, asking them not to ride a moped around the field.

They then approached the pair before verbally abusing them and attacking the 29-year-old man, pushing him to the floor.

The woman, also 29, was thrown to the floor as well and the verbal abuse continued.

Witnesses to the incident or anyone with information on the group of teenagers in or around the field should call PC Emma Tuberfield on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
