COLLEGE, sixth-form and university students from across the county who need a helping hand with their studies can log onto new weekly webinars.

The Tea Time Tips, run by Worcestershire Libraries and the University of Worcester, take place at 4pm every Tuesday until the end of the summer term.

They are aimed at those studying Access to HE, A-level, BTEC National, CACHE diploma, or EPQ qualifications.

Coun Lucy Hodgson, cabinet member with responsibility for communities at Worcestershire County Council said: “It is fantastic to still be providing people with support, during a time when we are unable to operate as usual. The sessions and all of our online services are so easy to use and can offer vital advice and guidance.”

Dr Sarah Pittaway, Head of Library Academic Engagement at the University, said: “Study Happy has been a great success in helping both University of Worcester and local school and college students feel more confident and motivated about their studies.

“The ‘Tea Time Tips’ webinars are a natural extension of that support whilst we remain in lockdown.”

Additionally, all Worcestershire Library members have free access to a wide range of online reference tools to support research and learning.

The sessions will be delivered on Tuesdays at 4pm running until the end of the summer term.
