A GROUP of nurseries in Rubery, Hagley, Northfield and Quinton have handed more than £2,000 to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The cash was raised from the Cotton Tails Nursery Group’s annual Fun Week where a host of activities take place for the children.
Special visitors and animals arrived to say hello and lots of ‘toddle walks’ were undertaken for the cause.
Nursery manager Lisa Daniels said: “A huge thank you to all our parents who helped contribute towards this special cause. This year the cheque presentation of £2,000 took place at Hagley setting with our very own Owl, which was part of the scheme arranged to provide extra funds (£5,008) for the hospital.”
Over the years, the nurseries have raised well over £50,000 for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
